Scrumpy Jack Cider – Community Management

The Background

Scrumpy Jack Cider launched their national ‘Scrumpyshire’ campaign and micro site, which celebrates all things ‘great about the English Countryside’. An experimental journey into social networking, we were tasked with setting up and managing a dedicated campaign Facebook page to extend reach.

The Brief

Set up a dedicated Scrumpy Jack Cider facebook page and build our community. Encourage fans to share what they feel is best about the English countryside and incentivise them to do so by giving away a free crate of Scrumpy Jack Cider every week. Pro-actively promote the Facebook page to key online influencers holding conversations around cider.

The Solution

We set up 2 Facebook pages: a central profile page and a campaign page. This will allow us to create future campaign pages directly related to the central profile. On a daily basis we conversed with SJC fans and encouraged them to share what they love about the English Countryside. To find the fans we proactively promoted the campaign to key online influencers relating to country living, real ale and of course cider.
