How Long Before my Blog Starts to Grow?

Bookmark and Share

This can depend on a vast number of factors like, frequency of posting, quality of posting, originality of content, style of writing, keyword usage, online promotion, competition in your niche etc etc.

Full integration and acceptance by the search engines can be a big factor. In particular, Google tends to operate a system called the “sandbox” which effectively puts a moratorium of anywhere between 3-6 months on your blog (operating from a new domain) before it will quickly and readily index your pages.

Allowing for this wide range of factors, you should see some traffic growth from day 1 with more substantial growth seen between the 6-12 month period.
