How Long Should my Blog Posts be?

There is some debate over the optimum length for a blog post. However, a tried and tested combination includes a mix of short, punchy posts and longer more analytical posts. Attention spans tend to run short online, therefore it’s important to grab your readers attention and impart information quickly.

From the perspective of search engines, there appears to be some evidence to suggest that your minimum length post should be around 250-500 words. Any shorter and I think you’re in danger of the post slipping away into search engine obscurity.
