How Often Should I Post Articles on my Blog?

The key to a successful blog is regular quality content. Writing 10 posts a day in the first few months and then none at all in the following few months is a common mistake. Why?

1. The regularity of search engines spidering (indexing) your new pages is a function of posting rhythm. Erratic posting rhythm results in delayed or infrequent spidering of new pages.

2. A posting rhythm allows readership to follow your blog more easily.

How Frequently Should I Post?

Some blogs are very successful posting once a month, others post daily. As a rule of thumb, the vast majority of successful blogs probably post between one and five times per week.
